A History of Leadership and Stewardship

Dynamic Controls Inc. roots date back to the early 1980's as a subsidiary of a specialty contracting company in Peoria Illinois. Founders Bill Wahl and John Droege had a particular philosophy of identifying client needs and becoming a partner from initial project development, through construction and then providing proactive service after the project. This focus on customer satisfaction and retention allowed the company to flourish and by the mid 2000's had grown into a $6 million systems integration business.

In 2008, Jeff Gross bought into the business and became DCI's President and majority shareholder. Jeff's business philosophy further expanded on the "client centered approach." This modern philosophy concentrates on taking a holistic approach to the "building life-cycle" including designing for system flexibility, integration ability and building scalability. Dynamic Controls proactive approach to building a team includes clients, the design team, the engineering team and the construction team. Going beyond the team approach, DCI prides itself on being straightforward, open and honest. With a transparent method of running projects, budgeting projects and invoicing projects, DCI is unique in the specialty systems integration business.

Now with offices in Peoria, IL and St. Louis, MO, Denver, CO and Casper, WY, Dynamic Controls Inc. has grown into a $20+ million per year company and continues to prove itself on highly complex projects as a sophisticated, TRUE systems integrator.
