Dynamic Controls Inc. is proud to be a part of the McCarthy Building Companies team selected to work on a new project at 
Southern Illinois Healthcare’s Herrin Hospital located in Herrin, IL. The new $23.7 million surgery expansion and hospital modernization project will primarily include seven new operating rooms built to accommodate a rise in demand for surgical services in the community. Additionally, the surgical prep, phase two recovery area, endoscopy and minor procedure rooms will also be replaced. While working in an occupied and functioning hospital always has its challenges, the 3-phased project is expected take two years to complete. For its part, Dynamic Controls Inc. will provide automation and controls for seven new Air Handling Units and multiple pieces of unitary HVAC equipment serving the existing hospital and new surgery areas. Construction is expected to begin in late August 2015 and finish in fall 2017.
